PROFILE
I am a dedicated Health & Safety professional at United Parcel Service, with over 29 years of industry experience.  I have spearheaded work and development with UPS’ CHSP program (Comprehensive Health and Safety Process) as a Region CHSP Manager over 16 states and as a Corporate CHSP Manager in Atlanta, GA.  During my corporate assignment I trained and facilitated safety classes in every UPS Region in the United States as well as taking part in bringing the UPS approach to safety to Singapore and Shanghai, China.  I have spent most of my career conducting training in Behavior-Based Safety, Safe Work Methods, Health and Wellness, Root Cause Analysis, Observation and Feedback, Air Ramp Safety, Auto Crash Investigation, Auto Crash Prevention and DOT and OSHA Compliance.  I have also written and revised training programs, procedures and processes for UPS that are being used companywide.  One of the most significant training programs that I developed is the, UPS Driver Safety Self-Assessment.  More than 100,000 UPS drivers use this program and frequently perform self-assessments.  This process has complemented other safe driving programs to rank UPS drivers as some of the safest drivers on the road.  UPS drivers log more than three billion miles a year and average less than one accident per million miles driven.  In addition, I have written several training programs for the 3,400 UPS Safety Committees throughout the world.
